- બગદાદીના ખાત્મા સાથે ઇસ્લામિક સ્ટેટનો અંત આવી જશે એવું માની લેવાની જરૂર નથી કારણ કે મોટે ભાગે તો એવું જ બનતું રહ્યું છે કે કોઇ એક આતંકવાદી સંગઠન નબળું પડે કે બીજું ખડું થઇ જાય છે એ સંજોગોમાં આતંકવાદની વિચારધારાને નાબૂદ કર્યા વિના દુનિયાને તેના ખતરામાંથી બચાવવું શક્ય નથી ગયા રવિવારે જ્યારે દેશ દીવાળીની ઉજવણીમાં વ્યસ્ત હતો ત્યારે અમેરિકન કમાન્ડોએ ઇસ્લામિક સ્ટેટના કથિત ખલીફા અબૂ-બકર અલ-બગદાદીનો તેના જ ઘરમાં ઘૂસીને જ ઘડો લાડવો કરી નાખ્યો. આમ તો છેલ્લા ઘણાં મહિનાથી બગદાદી એક હારી રહેલી શક્તિમાત્ર હતો પરંતુ તેનો ખૌફ હજુ પણ યથાવત્ હતો. તે સતત નાસતો ફરી રહ્યો હોવાના સમાચાર આવતા રહેતા હતાં. એવામાં ઇસ્લામિક સ્ટેટના આકાના માર્યા જવાની ખબર દુનિયા માટે શાંતિનો શ્વાસ લેવા સમાન છે. પશ્ચિમ એશિયાના ઇસ્લામિક રીતિરિવાજથી ચાલતા દેશો માટે પણ બગદાદીના માર્યા જવું મોટી રાહતસમાન છે. બગદાદીએ જે ઝનૂન અને પાગલપન ઊભું કર્યું હતું એનો સૌથી મોટો ખતરો આ મુસ્લિમ દેશોને જ હતો.  ઉદ્ભવના થોડા સમયમાં જ આખી દુનિયામાં ભય અને બર્બરતાના પર્યાય બની ચૂકેલા આતંકવાદી સંગઠન ઇસ્લામિક સ્ટેટના સ્થાપક અબૂ-બકર અલ-બગદાદીના માર્યા

શ્રીનગર, તા. 31 ઓક્ટોબર, 2019, ગુરૂવાર કાશ્મીર ખીણ 88 દિવસથી શટડાઉન છે ત્યારે જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીર અને લદ્દાખમાં ગુરૂવારની સવાર આશાના નવા કિરણો સાથે ઉગી. બુધવારે રાત્રે 12 વાગ્યાના ટકોરે જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર રાજ્યનું બે કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશો જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર તથા લદ્દાખમાં વિભાજન સત્તાવાર રીતે અમલી બન્યું. આ સાથે નવા કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશોમાંથી રાષ્ટ્રપતિ શાસન હટાવી લેવાયું છે. વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ કહ્યું કે 'નવી સિસ્ટમ'નો આશય વિશ્વાસનું મજબૂત જોડાણ ઊભું કરવાનો છે.  ભારતમાં સ્વતંત્રતા બાદ સૌપ્રથમ વખત કોઈ રાજ્યનો દરજ્જો ઘટાડીને તેને કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશોમાં ફેરવવામાં આવ્યો છે. નવા કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશો અમલમાં આવતાં ભારતમાં કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશોની સંખ્યા 9 અને રાજ્યોની સંખ્યા ઘટીને 28 થઈ ગઈ છે. આ સાથે રાષ્ટ્રપતિ રામનાથ કોવિંદે જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીર રાજ્યમાંથી રાષ્ટ્રપતિ શાસન લાદવાનો આદેશ પાછો ખેંચી લીધો છે અને બે નવા કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશોના વહીવટીતંત્રને સત્તાના સૂત્રો સોંપ્યા છે. જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મીરમાંથી કલમ 370ની વિશેષ જોગવાઈઓ પાછી ખેંચવાની અને રાજ્યને બે કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશોમાં વિભાજિત કરવ

(પ્રતિનિધિદ્વારા) વડોદરા, તા. 31 ઓક્ટોબર, 2019, ગુરૂવાર  જેઓ ભારત સાથે યુધ્ધ જીતી નથી શકતા તેઓ દેશની એકતાને પડકારી રહ્યા છે. સદીઓથી આપણી  એકતાને લલકારનારા ભૂલી જાય છે કે સદીઓથી એકતા તોડવાની તેમની કોશિષ છતા અમને કોઇ મીટાવી શક્યુ નથી.  અમારી વિવિધતા પર જ્યારે એકતાની ચુનૌતી અપાય છે ત્યારે  જડબાતોડ જવાબ અપાય છે, એકતાને પડકારતી આવી તાકાતોને ચકનાચુર કરીએ  એ જ સરદારને સાચી શ્રધ્ધાંજલિ છે તેમ  પાકિસ્તાનના નામનો ઉલ્લેખ કર્યા વગર વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે સરદાર વલ્લભભાઇ પટેલની જન્મજયંતિએ સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટી ખાતે  કહ્યું  હતું. કેવડિયાકોલોની ખાતે રાષ્ટ્રીય એકતા દિવસની ઉજવણી દરમિયાન વડાપ્રધાને ઉમેર્યું  હતું કે સરદાર સાહેબના આર્શીર્વાદથી આવી તાકાતોને પરાસ્ત કરવા માટે  બહુ મોટો નિર્ણય દેશે થોડા દિવસો પહેલા લીધો હતો. આટકલ 370થી જમ્મુ કાશ્મીરને અલગાવવાદ અને આતંકવાદ સિવાય કશું મળ્યુ નથી. સમગ્ર દેશમાં જમ્મુ કાશ્મીરમાં જ કલમ 370 હતી અને આ જ એક માત્ર રાજ્ય છે જ્યાં આતંકવાદના કારણે છેલ્લા ત્રણ દશકામાં લગભગ 40 હજાર લોકોએ જીવ ગુમાવ્યા છે. દાયકાઓ સુદી ભારતીયો વચ્ચે કલમ 370ના કારણે દીવાલ બનેલી રહી હતી
